Is College Really Worth It?

As long as i have been in school teachers and parents have always pushed their youngsters to go to college, just seeking higher education is not enough, you have to take business class to own it. Since the new millienum technology has been evolving in such a way that it makes some manual jobs obsolete so that a machine does it now. Teachers even tell students that colleges look at what they do in middle school.
What happen to the times where after high school a child could takeover the family business. Small owned businesses are what improve the economy but since all those owners children went off to college the government took it over and when that happens it harms our economy.
Is college really worth it? People spend 4-5 years chasing a degree that still doesn't guarantee a successful career. Alot of the homeless people on the street have degrees to what makes a degree so important. When the recession first started millions of people where laid off and a ton of then had a college education that did not save them from losing everything.
Pros-

• When you have a college degree it gives you more options to choose from career wise, employers perfer a more mature background.
• A college graduate has a higher advantage compared to those with no college background.
• Gaining knowledge is something that no one can take from you, knowledge is power.

Cons-

• College is very costly for anyone who does not get financial aid. Alot of people who want to seek higher education cannot afford the expenses of school.
• Classes are challenging and time consuming. Not only does that take a toll on your health but it causes alot of fustration.
